When you buy your microgreens from the store, they have a much shorter shelf life, which often translates to greater expense when it’s wasted at the bottom of your produce drawer.
What can you do with microgreens? Do what I do! I love starting my day with an omelet or smoothie that incorporates my microgreens. They make tasty, textured toppings for sandwiches and wraps. They even add more excitement to your ordinary salads. I’ve used them in just about everything from soups and garnishes on main dishes like lemon chicken, atop sides like baked potatoes, and even on pizza too.
